Last night, I may have been a little too enthusiastic about the news of broadened access to the vaccine. I see no reason irrational exuberance cannot apply to both FDA EUAs and the stock market. And, I (re)discovered it takes longer than the attention span of a 12-15-year old to describe the extreme and data-free anxiety you have for your children to your children.

I hope the data from India indicating a plateau of new cases is accurate. Either way, it is hard to imagine what it means for a country to have a 7-day rolling average of 400,000 new cases per day.

Learn about why urination triggers a parasympathetic response that, sometimes, makes people shiver. Dr. Todorvic's Australian accent makes the whole subject sound that much more erudite.

But the leading proponent of phrenology, Franz Joseph Gall, may have been "under appreciated." Check out this Lancet review of a biography of Gall.
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laneur/article/PIIS1474-4422(19)30225-X/fulltext
What is worth noting is that Gall did a fair bit of neuroanatomical work of value but seems to have also chosen a path of logical fallacies and bias. (Probably for the sake of gaining wealth and fame). And his trade-offs have made him a mocked footnote in the history of science. On the other hand, I have a lovely porcelain phrenology head for my office bookshelf.
Clean hands and sharp minds,
